Dennis Moriarty

Dennis Moriarty was Cesari Werner Moriarty’s first associate, coming aboard in 1965, even before he was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1966. A veteran of over 250 jury trials seen to conclusion, Dennis is an expert and frequent lecturer on trial techniques, bad-faith and insurance-related matters. In 2011 Dennis was recognized as the ABOTA California Trial Lawyer of the Year. He also participates in the Masters in Trial program for ABOTA and acts as Judge Pro Tem in settlement conferences. Martindale-Hubbell A.V. rated, Dennis earned his B.A. from St. Patrick’s College in 1958, and his J.D. from University of San Francisco in 1965.

The Olympic Club Foundation, which raises money for organized youth sports, is one of Dennis’s passions. In fact, he served as president in 2007/2008. He and his wife, Terese, have four adults sons, including CWM Partner, Sean, and are San Francisco residents.
